301/06 was awarded
the breed championship at the Royal National
Launceston show in 2007. He has a good strong sirey head with a broad muzzle, clear alert eye, good pigmentation and ideal forelock.
He has excellent body confirmation and length, good big structure, sound feet and black hooves.
He carries a very desirable fleece which displays excellent character (crimp and wave), luster
and length and has the additional merit of
consistency on the shoulder, rib and thigh. When
blade shorn at 15 months old his fleece weight was
7.12kg (15.7lbs).
